The stocks in my focus list for the next few days all have broken out and I’m looking for pullbacks for entry.
RRC, SID, ANR, RDC, FDG, MTL, STLD, GTLS, KSU, NFLX, RSX.
Not much has changed in the short watchlist.
11:30 am (central) update–I have taken positions in a few of the focus list stocks. More details later today.
Other than a good setup, do you aviod trading the stock few day prior of after earning (or some kind of related news) to lower your risk?

I had a question along the same lines. More specifically, did you hold CSX through earnings?

TraderMD: I am still holding MTL and CSX. Pat: I generally try to aviod holding through earnings, but sometimes do–especially with momentum stocks where I have a good exit point for s stop-loss.
