  • Quickie Game Plan

    The market’s very extended. The low risk trade right now is to short with a tight, logical stop. Aside from RIMM, and possibly DRYS tomorrow, I am not looking to get long. My current short positions are SPY via SDS, AAPL, LMT and AMZN (pair trade with RIMM)

    The chart below shows the obvious breakout-breakdown level. A break below that level would mark a failed breakout. See my last post on current strategy.

  • Bearish Engulfing Pattern Forming in X

    A bearish engulfing pattern is forming in X right near resistance. This trade is easily managed by shorting the next intra day bounce, placing a stop above today’s high with a target near the 50 day moving average.

  • Monday Short

    While I am still bullish on the market, I am looking to short on a very short term time frame.  The market is overbought and nearing resistance. I will only short strength that moves strong to the February highs.

  • USD

    One of my favorite bottom plays going into yesterday’s bounce was USD (semiconductor ETF). While I am still holding a partial positions, it’s now moved right into resistance. I may add to it on a pullback.

  • Update

    For those wondering why I haven’t posted much lately, I’ve been ill and have spent little time on the computer. I am holding SSO and GOOG, was recently stopped out of MOS and took profits in USO.
